Every year that passes I’m so grateful to have my mother in my life. Not because she is the best mother, but because she’s my mother. Women are the essence of life, and she is the woman that gave me life.

Lena is a woman with much determination and virtue. She was born in Palatka, Fl. to a big family of 7 boys and 5 girls. Her younger years consisted of working in the fields to support her family which ment she had to grow up quick.

Comimg  from rural Putnum County, she moved to Daytona Beach, FL. in search of bettering her life. Lena received her G.E.D., her CDA liscense and her C.N.A. liscense.  In between those accomplishments, she raised 4 children and help many people along the way as a daycare teacher, a health assistant and a mentor. Happ Birthday Ms. Lena, you’re getting better with age. Thank you for all the love and support you have given us throughout the years. Love, Your Children.
