In honor of Black History Month, Undaground Madness ATL TV Network remains dedicated to its mission: to empower, elevate, and amplify Black creatives by providing a platform for independent filmmakers to share their stories. Through our Spotlight on Stories initiative, we highlight authentic narratives that reflect the depth, diversity, and resilience of Black culture. This year, we proudly showcased two independent films and their visionary creators: Robert Slocum (“Moral Enemies”) and Ronald Taylor (“Meet the Snows”), both available on Tubi.

These talented filmmakers sat down with Undaground Madness ATL TV Network to discuss their creative process, the Atlanta film industry, and the passion behind their work.


Robert Anthony Slocum II – “Moral Enemies”

A dynamic filmmaker, producer, actor, author, and entrepreneur, Robert Slocum has carved out a unique path in the entertainment industry. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, on February 15, 1987, he pursued higher education at Savannah State University, where he developed a love for storytelling through theater, starring in productions like A Raisin in the Sun. His journey in entertainment led him to establish Eyes Glued Productions, dedicated to gripping storytelling that keeps audiences engaged.

Robert’s career has spanned multiple roles, from security for high-profile celebrities like Chris Massey, Kyle Massey, and Raven-Symoné to becoming a best-selling author with his urban crime novel Paid Dues. Transitioning into film, he has directed and produced several impactful projects, including the police brutality-focused short “Their War on Us” and the upcoming romantic comedy “The Test”. His perseverance and storytelling prowess have caught the attention of industry legends, including OutKast’s André “Big Boi” Patton.

With “Moral Enemies”, Robert continues his commitment to thought-provoking storytelling, solidifying his place as a creative force in Atlanta’s film scene.


Ronald Taylor – “Meet the Snows”

Hailing from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and now based in AtlantaRonald Taylor is a multifaceted talent—a scriptwriter, actor, rapper, and executive producer. His acting credentials include roles in Marvel’s “Black Panther”Wrong House (2019), and Da Story B4 Da Glory (2019). Beyond acting, Ronald has a thriving music career that complements his storytelling abilities.

His breakout film, “Meet the Snows”, showcases his talents both in front of and behind the camera, as he served as co-writer, executive producer, and lead actor. The film has cemented his reputation as a storyteller with a keen eye for engaging narratives. Looking ahead, Ronald has exciting new projects in development, including an action film set for production in 2024.

With his undeniable talent and dedication to creating meaningful content, Ronald Taylor is on a meteoric rise in the entertainment industry.
