The Origin of the Word “THOT”?

image

ALLEGEDLY The origin of the word “THOT” now acronymed as “That Hoe Over There” stemed from the nick name of Sarah Baartman.

In the early 1800’s Sarah Baartman traveled from South Africa to Europe in plans to seek wealth. The natives weren’t used to seeing a woman with such stature; big buttocks, breast, lips, etc. So she was used as a circus act and displayed to the natives. She gained the name “La Vénus Hottentote”.

After she failed as a circus act she was introduced to prostitution. Due to over exposure,  rape, and stress she died at the young age of 25. Bet you never “THOT” about that.

  2. Where did the KKK get THOT from? Were they acronyms for something? I need more information before I believe this. I know about Ms. Baartman’s tragic story, I just need more about the Klan’s description or definition of the word THOT.

  3. But where does KKK and THOT have any relation. I’m familiar with Sarah story but we need sources. I agree THOT is a stupid word and I hope it dies.
