Martin Luther King Jr. Day, 30 years later

image-11.jpg

I had the pleasure of going to a historical sight and paying homage to the honorable Dr. King in his home town of Atlanta, GA. Downtown Atlanta houses the King’s historic district. I had a tour of his home, his neighborhood and the church he grew up in.

Watch “The Legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. National Live Stream” on YouTube

I wondered why his day of observance wasn’t on his actual birthday. I didn’t know it took so long for his day to be made into a national holiday. In my quest to be more enlightened I have include some information for my readers as well, enjoy the information and enjoy this holiday. Take some time out do something productive and positive.
